~ Pot of Gold ~

Pot of Gold is a depiction of a Rainbow Trout swimming in a large river environment. The painting was based on experiences on Utah's Green River, a famous Blue Ribbon fishery. The original oil painting won a Jurors and Directors Award at the Springville Museum of Art in 1987 (Utah). The painting depicts a true river ecosystem with moss, snags, minnows and other fish in the background. The artist was once a fisheries biologist whos duties included underwater
fish surveys in rivers utilizing a wetsuit and snorkel.

Pot of Gold is one of many top sellers from the studio of Blaine Dabb Wildlife Art. The work is a 7 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches with a two inch white border printed on 100 weight paper. When framed, the print measures approximately 18"x20". This piece is perfect for the avid fisherman.
